For me it was in the orginal Mass Effect on Noveria after i finally stopped Benezia, Liara's mom. It took me a couple time and i enjoyed the challenge. I really enjoyed the whole creepy lab in the mountains and the snow. Plus it felt good saving a species from extinction. Because i hoped it would someday comeback in a good way for me in the game instead of the way it did. I also loved the intensity of the final battle on ME2 as i worked to make sure we kicked butt, and didn't lose anyone. I was really thinking at the time that i would be able to use them on 3. Another fun memory for me was the first time i used a Mako and killed a Thresher Maw after it some Alliance scientist were lured to it by some beacon lol.

What are some of your fondest memories of the series?

The Object Rho firefight, without a doubt has got to be my favourite moment in the entire series. Combine the fantastic music with the fact I'm up against a small army with nothing but my wits and the small armoury on my back and you've got my favourite set piece. Hell, I even have a save parked right before it so I can replay it on Insanity any time I want. :D

WOW that's asking for some serious posts/monologues. So many great memories in all 3 games.

Virmire was memorable because after the speech and all that fighting you had to make a choice that sucked quades. I played that mission many times trying to find a way.
I love Jack and her whole story in both ME2 and ME3. I think seeing her grow in that way will stay with me for a long time. Mostly because I've known 2 people who were like her in many ways. One didn't get the chance. The other didn't grow.
The end of ME. What can I say? I like a happy ending!
The Death of Thane. You knew he was going to die. Bioware just made that death scene incredibly poignant. Same with Morden, but they did him even worse. You could kill him too? (I watched the youtube video) Brutal.
Wrex..... Shepard..... need I say more?
    Liara's gift.
I could go on for a lot more. I can't pick a favorite. Only favorites.

Holding The Line (with fond memory's)

I loved the Layer of the Shadow Broker, that whole DLC was extremely fun. I’m a sucker for Liara so a whole two and a half hours (for me) devoted to her was amazing, plus you get to rekindle the old relationship, what more could I ask for?? I also loved going to the Flotilla in ME2. Finally seeing it after hearing so much about it in ME1 was awesome, plus the quarians are pretty cool, I liked seeing how their society functioned. Curing the genophage was amazing, and Mordin’s sacrifice scene was very moving! I don’t know it’s hard to just choose one!

    From Mass Effect 1:

Sovereign's conversation on Virmire. "You will end, because we demand it...."

Oh man. That was just goosebumps all over.

Killing Wrex on my first playthrough. The passion and anger in Wrex's voice... man. I was role-playing a Renegade as usual, but it still felt like such an incredible loss.

Ilos. Everything on Ilos. The Prothean Statues (later retconned to my dismay, probably as Inusannon). Driving past the pods while Vigil's theme played on the background. The entire conversation with Vigil. Amazing. Just...amazing.

Running through the Citadel. The awe, the wonder, the music.

The Spectre Induction "ceremony" on the Council Tower.

Cutting off the Council each and every time.

Mass Effect 2 ~ nothing particularly stood out for me, except watching Kelly Chambers gooefied into paste.

Mass Effect 3 ~ Tuchanka. Killing Mordin Solus. Even though I did what my Shepard would have done... it was pretty unbearable and I felt...rotten afterwards. Manly tears were definitely shed.

~Kaidan coming up to my room to share "a quick drink". After that, saying farewells: "we know this is goodbye".

Most epic scene for me, The arrival of the fleets to the amazing score and the epic close up of the Destiny Ascension. This had me prepared for what I thought would be an amazing ending HAHA I WAS TROLLED.

The whole incorporating the Reaper's horn? into the score deal.

The fall of Thessia. Even though it should have been more intense from a visual standpoint, imo, that's where Shepard pretty much starts feeling really overwhelmed.

Anderson's death. very emotional. Great music, great moment. Shepard's "What do you want me to do"? while reaching for the control panel, barely grasping it, but collapsing at the last moment, just like Mordin did when he died by my hand.

    ...sigh.

I've only played ME3 one time, so it's hard to remember all of the great moments. I'm sure there were more in there. If I ever get over this and play it again, I'll post over here.

Mine was the Mako rides in ME1, or possibly Garrus complaining that its cold every 5 seconds on Noveria.

Agreed! For all of the hatred the mako got, it was one of my favorite things on mass effect. Gave you a real sense of how small you were against the galaxy.

Diffenately! I loved them because as any given moment a Thresher Maw can pop up and totally fuck you over and jumping off cliffs was a blast. I remember getting irrated at some point while searching for this merc base, and I was like "Keep Calm and..." *Thresher Maw pops up* "Shit, shit SHIT! What the SHIT!" In my opinion it would have made planet scanning a little more interesting in 2.

Haha I totally miss the Mako! I loved it, exploring planets and going completely vertical trying to get up mountains then launching yourself off once you got to the top. :D

Not to mention the creepiness of suddenly hearing the song of the rachni in some mysterious foggy planet...and then...again in some other remote garden world.. *BRRRRRR* God. Exploring those planet always had this scary feeling for me. I couldn't stand scanning on ME2. But the completionist in me Scanned every single one.... >_<.

I forgot to mention Overlord on ME2 was a nice change from the main campaign. It felt like you were exploring again and I really liked the story. The whole pixelated David face with that awful screaming sound gave me goosebumps. I think that is the other good memory I have from ME2. Though, because it's dlc, it feels like I'm kinda cheating by including it.

First, it would be firing up Mass Effect for the first time, not really knowing what to expect. Big KOTOR fan, but I didn't really know anything about ME except that it was Bioware and supposedly fantastic. Oh, and that there were multiple romances. In the first cutscene, I eyed up Joker and thought, "Oh yeah ... I wonder if I can romance him." and then I heard Kaidan talk and almost screamed, "IT'S CARTH!"

    That was that.

I loved Virmire, because the decision was shocking. Not particularly difficult for me, because there was no way I was leaving Kaidan. But I didn't really think they would kill off a squadmate.

I will also always remember my first playthrough of ME3, because the amount of times I teared up was ridiculous.

Charging through the Omega 4 relay, preparing for the fight of my life, my heart beating to the rhythm of the music... It was exhilarating.

    Tali: I love you.
    Shepard: Kelah Se'lai

Turned Rannoch from just another mission to gather forces into a love story.

The first time I really felt the weight of my decisions with the death of a team mate (Virmire)
Meeting with Legion (a geth team mate )
    Jack's romance scenes
Punching the old Shadow Broker (Shepard rules :ROFLMAO:)
    ...

That's the first ones to come to my mind but there are obviously many others...

Speaking with Sovereign on Virmire. Just a hologram, but still intimidating!
Battle of the Citadel. "Suit up! We're going outside!" Watching Sovereign tower above me as I fight to the top of the Tower... Epic.
Hanging up on the Council :p

    ME2
    The opening. Masterfully done!
    Meeting Legion... What a twist!
    Tali's loyalty mission.
Joker. Was glad to see his character more fleshed out in ME2.
Smarting off to TIM. "I'm having trouble hearing you... There's a lot of bullshit on this line!"

    ME3
Rannoch. Having to choose between two of my favorite characters Tali and Legion, this was only part of the game that made me cry. And then the satisfaction of uniting the Geth with the Quarians once again.
Tuchanka and curing the genophage. Seeing Wrex's dreams come true was a dream come true for me, as well.
Thane vs Kai Leng! SPACE NINJAS!!!
Raping Kai Leng with my Omni-blade.
    Final moments on Thessia.
Killing Udina. "Nobody stabs me in the back, Udina! Nobody!"

    ME1:
The first hours on the citadel, meeting the squad mates, it was amazing.
The moment you take control of the Normandy
Kicking the Thorian out of the arcology on Feros, while saving every colonist.
    Saving the Rachiny
The tons of hours in which i explored the galaxy, and the planet rides with the Mako.
The friendly cooperative atmosphere between species.
Killing Sovereign and saving the council

    ME2:
Metting old squad mates one more time
    The SR2's introduction
Tali's recruitment mission (I was really hoping that Mass Effect 3's plot was going to be centered on dark energy and the entropy)
Kasumi's mission (i felt like on a James Bond film, and i love that futuristic formal suit)
    Mordin singing
    Illum was amazing
The Assault on the Shadow Broker's ship
    Thane's recruitment mission
Saving Tali from the foolishness of the admirals
Legion's and the true geth's introduction
The assault on the collector base, blowing up the cruiser, saving the crew, destroying the Human Reaper, and obliterating that abomination without loosing a single squad mate, no one left behind (And then, sending to hell the Illusive Man)

    ME3:
The conversations with Bakara, and learning which the true face of the Krogans is.
The Tuchanka final mission, sending the Dalatras to hell, exploring the ruins, seeing a reaper being killed by a giant sand worm, curing the genophage while saving Bakara, and letting Mordin redeem himself.
Saving the Salarian councillor thanks to Thane, and seeing Udina's death.
    EDI-Joker relation and romance
Tali's real personality and point of view reveal
    Killing another reaper, on foot
Managing the ultimate peace between the Quarians and the Geth (This one is, by far, my favorite moment on the entire saga, very foundation saga related)
Uncovering sanctuary, and warning the galaxy about it
    Killing Kay Leng
Sending Bioware to hell because of the supposed ¨endings¨
