From the same wiki - colour and form of markings on face of asari depends on her father.
Pureblood asari don't have marks (Benezia, Liara, Samara and so on).

That's incredibly interesting. But that still doesn't mean every unmarked Asari is pureblood (note that I'm not implying that you said that either). Still, makes it possible to tell who's NOT pureblood.

Interesting thing - Morinth doesn't have marks (maybe they are done later than when asari is 40 years old (the age, when Mirala ran away) and Morinth wasn't the most welcome person in asari space), Falere and Rila do have marks.

Then Samara must have been fairly active.

That's not "markings" that I meant - like, tatoos on the face of asari.
Things that look like eyebrows are actually alike human birthmarks, which was also said in Wiki :]

Off topic, but I just realized: most Hindu gods have blue skin. Asari really ARE goddesses, aren't they? :notworthy:

Asari is another name for Osiris, egyptian god of the sun iirc, so yes they are goddesses :p

''"Thessia" is adapted from Thessaly. Roman writers such as Ovid and Seneca held that the "witches" of Thessaly had the power to draw down the moon.''

We need an 'awesome' rating, for when posts are quite too epic to merely be liked or agreed with.
