Umm...well, I don't want to commit to a "for sure yes I can do one for each LI", because it's dependent on finding a usable shot in a usable size that I can start from. That said, I'll try to, but it'll likely take a day for each...oh...1-2, considering I can't do nothing but these, lol. I'd imagine the preference would be Liara>Tali>Garrus>others, but I don't know what order the "others" part would be in really.

As far as the bullet points and whatnot, if Shinobu or you or whoever wants to write those out, that's a simple copy/paste in, pretty much.

What size and layout (portrait/landscape) do you want these to be?

You're the best. Also, that order is nice, because it means @kihten 's LI of choice comes after mine. Maybe we can get some banners for signatures from @Silvy or @Lil One that have other characters on them. I, for one, would be partial to "Turn it on for Legion - 4/28"

Oh, okay, as the decider I just want everyone to know that I'm totally open to ANY and ALL suggestions. Can anyone come up with a better Stage 2 catchphrase? Do you think Banners should just have one stage on them, or both?

DrowVampyre, thank you so much! I will try to boil my longwindedness down and then let people edit it to something manageable.

My pleasure. ^_^ As for a stage 2 tagline, if you wanna go with something similar, might I suggest "Shut down Starchild"? It has the alliteration thing going for it.

Also...just...so I'm clear here... <_< Being that these are LI posters, and the tagline is "Turn on X" or "Turn X on" or whatever, I'm assuuuuuuming you want shots from the romance scenes, yeah?

That depends, I guess. If you can get shots of them looking sultry, that's cool, I wouldn't take any scenes from the Liara romance after she takes off her clothes, though! This is a family-friendly establishment! I like "Shut down Starchild"..."Shut down space magic"?

If we go with space magic, I'd suggest put "shut it down for the space magic". It just seems a little more proper, makes it seem like we're shutting it down BECAUSE of the space magic. Of course, this goes back to the original format and makes me feel silly for rejecting it in the first place.

All right, I have ideas on what needs to be done.

    1) I need to boil my manifesto down and have people ok it. I will try to make a FAQ, too.

    2) Can someone smarter than me figure out a time schedule for places around the world? The goal is for the world to turn the game ON sometime Saturday, April 28th between midnight Friday night (Saturday morning) Pacific Standard Time and midnight Saturday night (Sunday AM). They will then turn the game OFF for at least 24 hours including midnight Saturday night (Sunday morning) PST through Monday morning.

    3) Is there somewhere to post information that would be like a homepage for this initiative that is accessible to people who aren't HTL members?

    4) Can someone make a list of websites to be contacted? Or is that information floating around already? I suggest Forbes, AngryJoe, IGN, Kotaku, anyone who has written an article about Retake, Retake itself, BSN, Reddit? I was thinking I would also go to popular ME Youtube vids/fanfiction.net and PM the uploader/leave a comment with the outline of the campaign on it. Can this sort of thing be done on Deviantart or MEkink (I'm not a member of either)? I'm not above PMing BSNers either, but am not sure if PMing too many people gets one banned.

    5) Banners. We can leave the LI ones on their respective threads at the BSN.

Do you think it would be a good idea to get everything ready, then spring the campaign all at once about a week before launch? Or is that not enough lead time?

There's no need for a poll. If you go back a couple pages, @kihten came in here and yelled at me, and I decided COMPLETELY ON MY OWN that a poll probably isn't necessary given that this particular idea is fairly harmless but has a huge potential impact.

As soon as we have some of the creative down, we'll begin advertising, but the creative requires distillation of the idea for Stage 1 and Stage 2 to a few succinct bullet points that can be put on a poster.

We can work out a way to get a more detailed manifesto put somewhere more accessible on HTL.

@kihten does not yell. She suggests strongly. You are just sensitive.
Anyone who tackles that has to bear in mind that parts of the US are in daylight savings time right now. I'm EST, but I'm only -4hrs GMT right now because of this. @cyyrant, do you have daylight savings there? I seem to remember that some Central places don't use it.

Arizona and Hawaii are the only states that don't observe DST, iirc. Indiana does some weird "half of the state is central, half is eastern" but other than that...Maybe we can come up with a themed infographic with the various time zones and what the start and end times PST correspond to in those areas. Alternatively, list everything as GMT and let people figure it out on their own.

Yeah, I'd say go with GMT (UTC) and let folks figure it out. Easier than setting it in PST, I think, personally.

How is this for editing? If anyone else wants to try to make it sound better, feel free.

"Right now, EA can see through Origin that many people are not playing the single player game. Some of us who can't face playing SP have taken refuge in MP. This gives EA the mistaken impression that SP is a lost cause and that more money should be poured into developing MP rather than into the Ending DLC. I propose that we Mass Effect fans prove to EA/Bioware that putting resources into making the SP Ending DLC is essential.

The Turn it on/turn it off for Bioware campaign consists of two parts:

Part 1: Everyone who loves the Mass Effect universe turns on the ME3 single player game (+/-MP) at some point Saturday, April 28th. By turning on our games, we are stating "I love Mass Effect and will buy more Mass Effect related products IF (and ONLY IF) I am satisfied with the ending DLC." This is a way for those of us who haven't been able to play SP to stand up and be counted instead of being written off as a lost cause. Those who have returned their game can download the demo and turn it on.

Part 2: Everyone who is willing to walk away from the franchise and/or Bioware if the ending DLC is NOT satisfactory then turns off the game (and avoids the BSN forums) for the entirety of Sunday, April 29th. By turning off our games, we are stating "I will refuse to buy more Mass Effect related products (and possibly ANY Bioware products) if the ending DLC is not satisfactory." This is especially important for the "wait and see" crowd, because stating our intentions up front will have a more positive impact on the quality of the ending DLC than will walking away after finding out it isn't very good.

This is a way for all of us to help Bioware. If they can show EA the differences between their two possible futures (returning fans vs. angry boycotters) they will have more power to get real money invested into the DLC and do it right.

It is not too late to save THIS Cycle."

Oh, I think this is how you are counted, but it seems Sony doesn't allow individual players to be kept track of.

Ok, here's a little prototype just to see if I'm on the right track - tell me what you think. Bullet points would go in the bottom-left area, extending to the right beneath her face as needed, or that's the idea anyway.
