Completed Retake campaign: Turn it on/Turn it off for Bioware

^This made me laugh! But I don't think I should ask them to put themselves through the wringer again for an uncertain benefit. And they wouldn't be able to see the ending DLC (which could be good or bad, depending on the quality).

I'm trying to make the vids that I spoke about earlier. The Monty Python one is ok, but I need a better sound clip of Shepard saying her name or introducing herself quietly. (It has to fit with the whole mortally wounded feel of the ending.) Can anyone remember a scene with her doing that? Right now I've taken "Shepard" from "There's no Shepard without Vakarian," but it sounds very clipped.

Do you want the name alone, "Shepard" or something like "I'm Shepard" or more like "I'm Commander Shepard"...? I can mess around in my audio programs and see if I can't mangle something together...

19 pages of Turn ME on Tweets (and TurnME3On). On to the Off Tweets.

I tried to upload the rough copy so you can see where I'm going with it but only get a green screen on Youtube. I'm also having trouble with Hamster video converter making the image incredibly low res.

Ah yes, been hunting for a place where Shepard speaks her own name. Dang hard to find, but it is in there somewhere...

As for the sound, seem it suffers a bit the same fate as the image, perhaps -- lo-fi? But I also think the way she says Shepard works well enough, actually... If a bit low volume, perhaps? Just a wee bit higher?

This is brilliant!
The sound is fine for the most part but when Shepard says her name the volume drop; Also, it sound kind of "off" to me with her grunting in the background, maybe lower the volume on that track for that bit and raise "Shepard", or cut out the second grunt. Quality wise it sounds great to me. A little mixed & matched when it transitions from the keeper to Shep or the other way around but that's to be expected since Holy Grail's sound quality is lower than ME3's to begin with.

I saved 19 pages of ON Tweets and thought I'd do the OFF Tweets today -- but now they're unavailable. This is why Luddites like me should not deal with newfangled technology like Twitter -- It didn't occur to me that the info would only be available for a limited amount of time! I'm still printing out the ON Tweets and I'm sending them to the devs to show them our support for Operation Letter Tsunami. I'm also going to include after-action reports. Why did I not do the OFF Tweets earlier?! *headdesk*

Glad you liked the idea of the vid, even if the execution needs work. I am stymied by the low res issue -- I saved the clips at 1920x1080 but can't seem to get Hamster to give me anything decent looking. For some reason my video software has also misplaced the "Shepard" clip so I can still hear it but can't find it to move it or increase the volume (or delete it to start over). I tried shoving the grunting over to compensate, but think I need to remake the thing from the ground up. I freely donate the idea to the cause, so if anyone else has the inclination to remake this video with better graphics and use it for whatever purposes on the HTL youtube channel, feel free!

I can use the same sound clip (only one aside from "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite store") that I have found so far. Blargh. I would need BioWare's spreadsheet to find the right, ha! I know it is in there, somewhere... An introduction, where the end of Shepard isn't cut off (... ).

Oh I have all the files, but there's a few thousand to creep through -- unless you mean they are also written out with attached audio files?

@Shinobu you should be able to use this site to search through and retrieve tweets from the twitter archive. Don't know how thorough the search is though.

Heh, I haven't extracted all yet, it adds up -- even if the extraction turns them into .ogg files. If I get the space, have time and find a place to put them I might... If you got a PC, you can do it yourself, however, as there's a couple of programs that can do it.

Yes, I have the files -- in the game. I can extract them at will, but it do require a bit of space -- and time. I have no link, but someone said they might be on Deviant Art I think?
