Well, the poll might help get a reasonable count as to the support she'll get, as opposed to going through tons of individual posts here.

You raise a valid point...again (how do you do that?). A poll may not be necessary as this is fairly harmless but could have a big impact if done right. My only concern with the stated April 20th date is that the OP has said she won't have internet for a week starting April 14th. Of course, I'm sure you'll have something to placate that concern as well MISS OH-SO-INCREDIBLY-SENSIBLE-ALL-THE-TIME-AND-I-DONT-KNOW-HOW-YOU-DO-IT-AND-IM-REALLY-JEALOUS-KIHTEN.

it's difficult enough to get people to pay attention to a thing, but to pay attention twice - (poll and support) if the idea isn't cause for controversy, it's much easier to media blast it once rather than twice. people have sort attention spans- and i know as i'm on twitter 24-7 trying to get them to look at ALL the cool retake things we're doing, lol. i think we'd have better luck just launching it!
