I saw that,Nvidia lost a lot of money, and it is true their Linux drivers arent as good as they used to be,AMD also cooperates more with Linux developers which in turn makes open source Radeon driver much better than Nouveau driver, and support for latest AMD graphic cards is more often than not regularly added to Linux kernel, unlike latest Nvidia graphic cards.Nvidia has advantage in one thing though,it provides proprietary Unix drivers while AMD does not.

I used to be a fan of Nvidia, every video card I've bought for over a decade has had one of their GPUs on it. But I'm only running Linux right now and with a Linux Steam client in the works I don't see me using Windows anytime in the near future, so I guess I'm going to start buying cards with AMD GPUs.
