• About our goals: Our intention is to take a different, more professional approach to resolving problems between a game developer and the customers who support them with their patronage. To effect Permanent. Positive. Change.

We believe the best way to win a conflict is to never start one in the first place, ergo; expend every possible avenue of diplomacy, to hear and understand both sides of a problem and to try to find and work out a compromise acceptable by everyone. In short, to engage in meaningful dialogue. This is accomplished by level headed, calm and thoughtful discussions. We understand the frustration, the disappointment and perhaps even anger on both sides. However the best solution is accomplished by those willing to work with each other.

And to that end, I offer an open invitation; to the developers, to public relations, to game reviewers and anyone else involved. Please come and offer your options, your problems and your ideas. Give us the chance to help you and in doing so help ourselves. Our goals are the same, we want to succeed and move forward. How this is accomplished, is up to you....

• It started with an idea: create a Gamer Advocacy - Developer - Community to address problems throughout the gaming industry. "Hold The Line" may have been reconized/themed by the fires of Mass Effect, but its message and this site will carry on into the future.. We hold the line here. We will no longer accept or fall prey to corporate greed. We will no longer blindly purchase substandard, unfinished or rushed-to-market products. We will build this community, we will organize and we will be watching..

The current disassociation between developers and gamers may have achieved notice with Mass Effect 3: But without redress and communication, such a consumer disconnect is bound to re-occur.

Developers, producers, designers and publishers; we all aspire to see a higher standard in gaming, help us make that possible. In the end we would rather work with you to succeed in the first place, then to try to find a solution in the aftermath of failure.
