Any thoughts, questions, input about the game specific details go here. If you tried it or have any info, it would be greatly appreciated. If you're going to troll, then you got another thing coming. Thanks.

I downloaded it, then bought a Premium Spectre Pack with some credits I had saved up. I got a Graal Spike Thrower and a Geth SMG. They don't like giving me any new things. Hopefully later I can get some of the new classes (not holding my breath, though...I'm still waiting to get a Geth Infiltrator card in a pack).

Anybody know anything about the new weapons? Are they any good?

The files hold what looks suspiciously like an item store's layout and textures. Also redesigns for a significant portion of the visual elements of the multiplayer menu. Haven't played it yet, though.

Also, no super-secret items hidden in there like last time, sorry.

Still am yet to check for traces of dialogue and texts.

Vancouver is a very multi-level map, with twists and ladders and ups and downs and in overall structure is similar to the Menae map in the sense that there's no comfortable place to bunker down, you have to constantly be on the move. It is also reminiscent of the Therum map from Pinnacle Station - the same bizzarre combination of elevated and deprecated surfaces, illogical cover and quick access shortcuts.

Right now I've only played the N7 Shadow, Destroyer and Demolisher, used the Piranha shotgun and Acolyte pistol.

The Shadow is actually kind of fun, but kind of difficult to use. She isn't nearly as high in DPS as a geth infiltrator set for melee damage, and her attacks are not AoE. The class is clearly meant as a melee focused infiltrator, but the Shadow's health and shields are kind of low, and her DPS is low as well, I've found I can barely kill a geth hunter before some of the nice damage reduction bonuses wear off and I start dying. Tactical cloak, specced for damage/melee damage with heavy melee can do a good bit of damage, but again, she just isn't beefy/godly in the DPS department to outweigh other melee focused builds.

That said, I suspect she's going to be really good against Reapers, as they lack dangerous close range enemies save for the banshee, and Brute's will be fun to dodge using the Shadow Strike ability, though the Electrical Slash ability is almost completely worthless save for setting up tech explosions, but those are so low damage its not worth it. Then again, the passive tree for the Shadow is also pointless, you won't want to be using weapons with her, as speed and hit-and-run melee tactics are what her skills are geared towards. Still, its fun to stab things, and I can't wait to get into a sword fight with a phantom. I hope she has a special sync kill ability so I can return all the favors phantoms have given me.

Destroyer is all kinds of hilarious, but I don't have a good build in mind yet. He's basically a mix between a human soldier with hunter mode and one of the grenade heavy classes. His 2 skills with CD are toggled, so they stay on for the entire game, if you want, and his third are some pretty nasty cluster frag grenades that do good damage to clustered enemies. Devastator mode is quite good, less painful on the eyes than Hunter mode and very helpful, especially with a high DPS weapon like a Harrier or maybe SMG. Missile launcher is the one area I'm not sure on. The missile is a toggled ability that fires every 3 or so seconds, and it tends to just go straight for whatever you are aiming at, and I've had it happen where the missile hits a combat drone or geth turret instead of the prime. Even specced for max damage the missile doesn't do very much, but with maxed force can usually guarantee a stagger. Destroyer is a good tank, not as good as a krogan, but his skills are good for high DPS builds, and seeing as CD is a non-issue, you can use whatever weapon you want.

My favorite of the three classes I've played thus far is the Demolisher, the engineer. Demo comes with a supply pylon that functions as a mobile ammo box with a bit of shield restoration thrown in for good measure. The class also has two grenade powers, arc grenade and homing grenade, both of which are good. The supply pylon has a pretty small radius without speccing for the radius upgrade, but at the cost of 25% increased ammo and grenade supply its not really that necessary. Best strategy I've found is to put the pylon in a high traffic area where teammates might frequently run through, or an area you can bunker down in.

With the two grenades, arc grenade specced for shield damage and homing grenade for damage to armor, the Demo can hold her own against pretty much everything, and as with the Destroyer, all of her skills are either without cooldown or are not skills you'll end up using a lot, the pylon not being something you want to toss out in a firefight, as it has no immediate offensive power, so you can take whatever weapon you want without fear of cooldown worry. Obviously the downside is the engineer isn't beefy for heavy firefight survival and grenades tend to run out fast. I saw it took about 3 homing grenades to take out brutes and ravagers each on gold, but with grenade capacity mods/specced for capacity, you only run out every so often and then just have to run the map for ammo.

I haven't tried any of the new mods yet, and only two the guns. The Piranha is more or less an auto shotty with a low fire rate and very, very heavy spread, but it's still actually very good. Good DPS against geth, does well against both shields and armor without ammo/rail amps. And it's quite light as well, so I suspect this will make a great vanguard/vorcha shotgun for very close quarters, as you can easily hit two or three enemies with every shot if they are grouped together right.

The Acolyte is the anti-shield gun, best I've seen thus far. I'd almost compare its damage to the GPS in terms of raw damage to shields, but once the shields are down this gun has more or less no DPS. Acolyte works amazing on the asari justciar/drell adept for pull/reave combos for stripping down shields, but beyond that, the gun has no good purpose. I can see it as a good pistol with another weapon for armor/health after the Acolyte takes the shields down.

Once I get a few more power resets, or maybe promote, I'm going to try different builds. I got saved up about a million credits and all I got was this stupid assault rifle omni-blade. :(

If only the random gear picking wasn't so random... I'm more interested in the characters than some of the new weapons. Rio seems to be a sniper's haven, where as Vancouver is a mess but has good areas to hold up in. London isn't a really big map, but seems you would get overwhelmed easily on Platinum.

They look like cool classes. Its too bad i'll never get any of them. Hell, i only have one rare character and he sucks.
    Stupid broken store system.
The maps can be a bit confusing, but they're rather open. There also seems to be what remains of one of the forward bases in London. That is not a fun one. Much like single player, you can get attacked from all sides.
If you want any of the stuff you're probably going to have to pay money or grind up 500,000 credits for a chance at them.

It is a grind. After plenty of tries today, I only got the N7 Fury. I hope to get other classes soon but little steps at a time. Trying to not get burnt out on MP.

I've tried to grind for ANY decent character. Hoping for a krogan, need something tougher to survive gold matches. I get nothing. I got that kishook harpoon gun(level 2), which is useless to me. Or some other gun i don't want. I've probably spent over 600,000 credits just trying for a character, what do i get? Drell vanguard, again. Its like its taunting me. I can't even work my way up from just spam buying recuit packs(then to veteren, and so on), because i just get friggin character cards that are already maxed out.
I played with a few people who already got them. They must have had huge reserves of cash, as well as a fair bit of luck.
Why the hell don't they fix it, have an actual "Reinforcement pack" and an "Armament pack" then if you want new characters, you get them, new guns, you get them. I swear its all about greed.

That's actually weird. I have most of the new guns (except the newest, obviously), a lot of characters unlocked (excepting the last two DLCs, because I didn't spend that much time trying to unlock them - I only have the Vorcha Sentinel of these) and all that mostly from playing Silver.

Yeah, I don't know what to say... Which is why I take MP in stride. Playing MP like crack is bad both for your health and for equipment.

I love it man, I really do. It requires you taking team work to the next level you know? Having really good communication and coordination, and we all work so well together, and while it was still extremely challenging, it went rather smoothly. We spent some time figuring out what exactly we needed to use and who should play what based on our strengths and what would serve the best purpose. Really was so much fun, we did so much work xD Can't wait to do more!!!
