Time: In the Mass Effect game, it was never closely defined how long the Normandy took in the Mass Effect relay system. Sometimes it seemed to take seconds while other times, hours. For simplicity's sake, let's assume however long your character needs to get a good rest and ready to get up (with the exception of characters who are severely hurt).

Where is the Eris: Docking at Illium. Corwin will be taking care of the docking fees.

What is going on: The primary reason the group is there is to get medical attention and hire a doctor. Second, Illium is a great place to collect information on what has been going on in the galaxy. The group learned some interesting things which they may want to investigate and get in touch with their contacts. Lastly, .......(you'll see)

So have fun with this. After this, we get ourselves a Geth.

The Medical team arrived at the port that the Eris had docked at. a security team had arrived to ask around, but no one was listening for now. as soon as the doors had opened, kreiger walked out of the ship, cradling Astila in his arms. he looked down at the still unconscious justicar. "see, just like i told you".
Kreiger placed Astila gently onto the bed the medical team had brought and began to follow them off the dock when he was stopped by security.
"i'm sorry sir, even though this is a crisis, we still need your papers." her voice serious, but then she scanned the quarian with her eyes, her voice changed to puzzled as she slowly raised her rifle to chest height "I'm not even sure what you are, let alone who..."
Kreiger was hesitant to answer both these questions. if he said he was Quarian, they may be shocked by his lack of suit. if he said he was kreiger, he wasn't sure if the years had made them forget his eclipse activities on illium or if they still wanted to "question" him.

kreiger decided, as illium is a "clean enough" planet, that he would leave his suit for now as there were more pressing issues that needed attending. besides, the open air may be good for him. He reluctantly pulled his passport out and shoved it into the gaurds chest without a word and quickly left to follow astila to the hospital.

"prick." the asari muttered as she opened his passport chit on her omnitool, the details were of a quarian, and a ping jumped up of a 12 year old arrest warrent, the shocked asari turned to pursue him, but decided to let it slide for now. he would be at the hospital anyways and she knew the ship he traveled on.

Astila groaned with all the bumpy movement of the hospital bed against the pavement. She was the first patient off the ship and the first to arrive at the hospital.

    -------------------------------------------------

"I can't find an identification on her. All we know is her first name.", One nurse said, looking quite nervous.

"Haven't you ever heard of an Omni-Tool? Here, let me take care of it.", Another called out, scanning Astila's Omni-Tool. A look of shock came across the nurse's face. "O ... O-Oh dear ...", She pulled up her Omni-Tool. "I'm paging our doctor."

Moments later, an older looking but still beautiful Asari walked in. She looked uncannily like Astila. Her facial markings were white in color and though more numerous, resembled Astila's. The markings on her head tentacles were similar, even her skin tone. As the nurse turned around, The Asari got a glimpse of the patient and pushed the other two Asari and Kreiger out of the way. "Astila!", She cried out, gripping the metal rails on the side of her bed. Tears started streaming down her face.

"Astire ... Ma'am.", The nurse put her hand on Astire's shoulder.

Astire shrugged off her hand. "You will do whatever you can for her. Take her. NOW!", She yelled, wiping her tears. The two nurses rushed Astila away, without another word. She looked over at Kreiger. "I'm sorry, please excuse my rudeness.", She said, receiving his identification from her omni-tool. She was a little shocked to see a Quarian out of his suit. "I am Doctor Astire. Are you friends with Astila?"

"Not that its your concern Doctor, but you could say that, yes."kreigers cold shoulder hit hard, he never did like the thought of hospitals OR doctors "I have never seen a doctor get quite so worked up over a patient, you a close friend or something? look it doesn't matter, just do what you can" he waved his hand in dismissal as he began to walk away. his mind still processing the uncanny resemblance the doctor had to Astila. he was in too much shock to "click" that they may be related. a soft hand lightly grabbed his shoulder.

Astire had opened her mouth several times to answer Kreiger. Finally she just put her hands on her hips and leaned against a wall, much like Astila would. "I have never seen a doctor get quite so worked up over a patient", Astire started to say something but was interrupted. "You a close friend or something?", The Quarian kept speaking. "Gah.", Astire said, sighing as she was interrupted once more. "Look it doesn't matter, just do what you can", She watched him start to walk away, before lightly grabbing his shoulder. After he had turned around to look at her, she removed her hand and folded her hands in front of her chest. "Astila is my daughter."

"your...oh keelah, can nothing go right?" kreiger looked extremely embarrassed as he placed a hand against his head.
"look, i didn't mean...it's just...sigh... it's been a long, LONG, few days and my head isn't in the right place to be dealing with...well, people." he looked over her shoulder at the I.S.T.F (illium security task force) headed down the hall. "look, i know she's going in for treatment, but mind if i stay with her?" he wasn't sure if he was asking to hide or simply to be with her, maybe both? "I promise i'll explain everything once i know she's ok."

Astire was looking down obviously worried about her daughter, she listened to Kreiger fumble over his words. "I want to be with her as well ...", She looked over at the door to the ER. "I haven't seen her in over ten years. The honor our family has received from her being a Justicar, is not worth the pain of seeing your daughter looking broken.", She sighed. "Yes ... You can be with her once she is moved to the ICU. I am going to clock out so that I can be with her as well." Astire started walking away. "Down the hall is a clean room where you need to be treated. I can see you're injured as well. After that, put on an oxygen mask so that the germs from the ICU won't make you sick and go to the front desk. Tell them Astire said to let you in to the ICU."She Walked off to clock out.

... she ran and ran, further and and further then she had ever gone from her home. An ally looms up, dark and quiet. She had thought she heard a voice call her name. A bullet grazes her shoulder. She falls lies on the ground still, the world turning red. She feels a pressure on her back, and a sudden pain to her head brings the world to black.

She wakes up. Night. The city looms all around her. Alone, afraid. Her parents are no where. She has no one now.

A Salarian doctor and a few Asari were scanning Aivar and Eri. "Three cracked ribs. Unstable biotic implant. Causes electricity to be present in biotic display and charges body. Can possibly fry individual alive if not fixed." said the Salarian, sounding extremely concerned. A nurse then said "The implant is fused into position. If we mess with it, it will kill her and the released charge that it currently building will fry us alive as well. She has become a living bomb. Poor child! All we can do is make her comfortable."

Othic hovered behind the Doctor and the nurses, straining slightly in order to listen in to their hushed conversation. A medical team had met them at the Docks. Krieger, not wanting to waste any time had already carried Astila to the airlock to meet the medics as soon as the Eris had Docked.

Othic had trailed behind and led some of the medics back to the Med Bay so Aivar and Eri could get looked at. It was Aivar who, with the more severe injuries, had commanded their immediate attention.

"Three cracked ribs. Unstable biotic implant. Causes electricity to be present in biotic display and charges body. Can possibly fry individual alive if not fixed." The Salrian Doctor talked in fast in precise, clipped tones. His prognosis did not sound promising.

"The implant is fused into position." One of the Asari nurses spoke up. " If we mess with it, it will kill her and the released charge that it currently building will fry us alive as well. She has become a living bomb."

"B-bomb?" Othic asked from behind them but his question went unheeded.

"Poor child! All we can do is make her comfortable."

A living bomb? Othic hoped the Asari was exxagerating. He knew they wouldn't have been aware of the extent of Aivar's power and hoped their initial diagnosis was wrong.

Kreiger nodded. he headed for the clean room, as he entered, two quarians were already seated, suited and awaiting a doctor for what kreiger could only assume was an imuno booster shot, as that's the only reason most quarians seek doctors outside the floatila. both of them stared in awe as he walked in, bleeding slightly from his cuts and stab wound, but suitless and alive. he gave them a curt nod as he approached the asari on the far side of the room.
"excuse me, i think you could help me with something." his voice wasn't hazy like most quarians as he wasn't muffled by a mask, she began to shrug him off
"i'm sorry sir, this wing is for..."
her words simply stoped as she stared in horror at kreiger.
"is for volus and quarians, no?" kreiger finishing her words "i just need a patch up and i'll be on my way, Astire sent me here and i'm to head to ICU afterwards."
the nurse nodded and quickly lead him to a room to begin stitching him up. the quarians he past on the way in began mumbling among themselves, he simply smirked as he left the waiting room.

She'd placed the call to the Hospital once they were in range of Illium, getting back in touch with her Doctor friend. She'd asked for the best, and most immediate care, and had been met with surprisingly little resistance or questions. She's still have to wait and see what came of that... either way, she was just glad that someone else, someone with medical training, was dealing with the emergency right now.

Once everything was settled, she'd excused herself back to the cockpit, weaving some excuse about needing to plan the jumps that would take them to Illium. She hadn't emerged yet, not even to eat. She'd stopped to grab a blanket from her room, and she had it curled around her shoulders. She'd taken a brief nap in the cockpit, but she wasn't feeling much like sleeping.

Clearly Corwin was taking care of the docking fees, as she hadn't gotten a call from the port authority. That was fine, she hoped his being up and about meant he felt better.

She took the time to run all the deep diagnostics on the ship, and call a handful of repair men to come in and fix the door and bulkheads. She wasn't sure if she could find a new pool table on Illium, but she wasn't as worried about that. The diagnostics were coming up better than she had hoped. They'd blown a DRA plate, but it looked like Krieger had been monkeying around in Engineering. The systems there were performing with more stability than they had ever previously displayed.

With the diagnostics done, Aashe finally got up, dropping the blanket down on the chair. She heaved a long breath, and made for the Cargo Bay, running a hand through her hair. The stylus pens were still holding it back messily. She stopped for a moment to take them out, and smooth her hair down before replacing the pens, trying to look less frazzled, and more presentable. She stopped in the Cargo Bay to pull a suit on, complete with helmet, as she'd be stepping outside of the Kinetic Barriers to fix the plate.

She kept extra DRA plates in the hold, but it took her longer to find them today. The boxes had been so thrown around. That would be project number 2, after the plate was fixed... Finally, she came across the box of large ceramic tiles, it was heavy enough to have mostly stayed in place, but it was absolutely covered in other crates and debris. She ignored the flotsam and jetsam for the moment, grabbed a tile, a box of tools, and stepped outside.

There were ladders and catwalks that made it easy to get to the sides of the ship. It didn't take her long to find the busted tile. Leaning as far out as she could, she watched the tile pass through the Kinetic Barrier, she gave it a little push with her fingertips, and it floated next to the ship. She followed, hopping off the catwalk, and turning on the magnetic shoes in the suit, after a brief fall, she was clamped to the side of the ship to work...

((This works out semi well, since I'll be away from the office today. Aashe can be spotted on the edge of the ship for a little while, I'm going to be here for probably another hour and a half or so... If the RP moves on to a point where everyone would be back on the ship, and anyone wants to find her later, she'll be back in the cockpit again.))

Aivar opened 'his' eyes, 'his' vision white and hazy, feeling warm, and in pain from the imaginary pyjaks currently dancing in 'his' skull and abdomen. 'He' groaned and started to shift around on the bed, and then there were several hands on 'him' at once, holding 'him' still.

"Ma'am, you need to stay still. Your extremely injured." said the Salarian doctor. Aivar growled, and struggled against the hands holding 'him' down, 'his' vision returning to normal. "Get... the... FUCK off of ME!" 'he' said explosively, 'his' voice getting deeper with each word with rage. 'His' biotics flared and 'he' sent a electrical charge that was visible down 'his' body, it crackling with popping noises. The nurses released 'him' in terror, but unharmed. The doctor was stunned, unharmed as well, but impressed.

Aivar sat up, 'his' reward extreme pain from 'his' cracked ribs and instinctively took out the metal object 'he' used to release 'his' electrical charge from 'his' pocket, and it began to hum quietly. Sighing in relief, 'he' took stock of her situation with 'his' vision now clear. 'He' was in the med bay, surrounded by couple Asari nurses who didn't know what to do and a stunned-looking Salarian doctor taking readings of 'him' with his Omni-Tool. 'He' also saw Othic standing in the background, his expression unreadable.

"Interesting. My scan shows your biotic implant is unstable and fused into position, causing higher electrical charge buildup then for a normal human biotic. You should be dead ma'am." said the fastinated Salarian. "You ability to dischage electricity like normal despite - "

"Yes, I KNOW." growled Aivar. 'He' was becoming even more enraged. "And do not call me ma'am. I am not a woman." The nurses looked confused, but then moved to Eri to check on her with a wave from the Salarian's hand. The doctor continued to work on his omni-tool in front of 'him' and then he moved away to Eri, not questioning as to why Aivar identified 'himself' as a man rather then a woman. He would ask 'him' that later among other things.

(( EDITED: misunderstood continuity issues! ))

Eri groaned, stirring a bit before slowly opening her eyes. She blinked in the harsh light of the medbay, the illumination sending daggers of pain into her throbbing head. Her mouth was dry. She swallowed, tasting a bit of blood that had dried on the inside of her lip. How long had she been unconscious?

She fought to remember what had happened, but there was simply nothing after the Krogan had charged her. Wait.. for some reason she was remembering Myn. She lifted her head slightly, squinting in the bright light, but her vision swam and she rested her head back down again. She winced, opting to simply tilt her head instead, enough to see Aivar on the next bed over. If she and Aivar were the only casualties, then she guessed they couldn't be that bad off. The question was... where was everyone else?

As Eri pondered attempting to actually sit up, several Asari and a Salarian suddenly burst into the room. Eri stared at them in confusion - she had no idea who they were, but they were at least dressed in medical attire. Within seconds, they'd surrounded her, busying themselves with triage, scanning, shining lights at her, and generally being a nuisance.

Eri didn't particularly have an issue with doctors, but she certainly liked to know who she was being poked and prodded by first...

"Hey... HEY..." Eri tried to sit up, but was pressed back down by the medical officers. "I'm FINE, deal with her first!" Eri protested, waving at Aivar. She'd seen the hit Aivar had taken from Skar and didn't have to be a medical professional to know it should have been life threatening.

Eri took a deep breath and relaxed back onto the bed as the doctors quickly realized she was right and Aivar was far more in need of care than she. Clearly the Eris had docked somewhere.... but the question was, where...?

A moment later Eri sensed someone was standing over her again and opened her eyes to see Myn. She tried to smile at him through the pounding behind her eyes. "Hey... looks like you're better at Krogan-Dodge-Ball than I am." Her voice came out a bit rougher than she expected.

    ((leaving room for Myn's reply))

"So I take it Kreiger finally got to kill him like he wanted..." She closed her eyes again. The lights seemed to be glaring extra bright. "Or else Aashe got to just space him."

    ((reply Myn))

"That's... probably not a good thing," she frowned, and wished she hadn't. "How long was I out?"

    ((reply Myn))

Knowing she'd lost that much time suddenly made her want to get back on her feet. Eri took a quick stock of the rest of her body, and other than being incredibly sore, she felt alright. At the very least, nothing seemed to be missing. "What... can I help with?" She tried to push herself up, despite Myn's protesting. "No, no, I'm fine. I'm just..." She attempted to roll over onto her left side and very nearly blacked out again. The intense stab of pain that shot through her arm caused lights to sparkle across her vision and she flopped back down again. "Okay, maybe not," she admitted through gritted teeth.

After Kreiger was treated, a nurse spoke to him on the way out. "The ICU is down the hall. I've authorized your entry. Astila is in room 6. I wish Ms Astire's daughter well.", She then pointed him in the right direction.

    -------------------------------------------------------

In room 6, Astila was lying there with her mother by the side of her bed. She looked a little better after being treated. The doctors had set her broken nose and thankfully it didn't need a cast. There was a large bandage on her abdomen and it looked as though she had been given blood and fluids to help warm her up. The blood on her face had been cleaned off and aside from a lot of bruising, she was looking much better. She had also been treated for a mild concussion, marked by a small square of bandage on top of her head tentacles.

Inside the room, Astire was talking to another Asari doctor.

"She seems to be doing well, Ma'am. She was in pretty rough shape when she was brought in. But, we think she'll make a full recovery. Right now she just needs rest. I assume she'll be able to wake up after a little rest."

    Astire sighed of relief.

"Thank You, Doctor.", Astire Said, the doctor nodded and left the room.

Astire turned her attention back to Astila. She began stroking her hand across her cheek and talking to her quietly. "Astila ... I'm so proud of you.", She said, smiling through her worried expression. "I'm so sorry that you've had such a difficult time. But, I know you're doing good in this screwed up galaxy.", She paused for a moment, receiving a ping on her Omni-Tool. She fiddled with a few buttons and settings on it. It was a video message from Astila, recorded moments before she got hurt, and send just now, one of the doctors must have done something to send it. Astire smiled and pulled up the recording, eagerly.

"Um ... Hi Momma. I miss you. I miss all of you.", Astila looked down and sighed. "I'm close to achieving my life mission, I swear I am. I have a new lead. When I am finished ... I shall come visit you. As a daughter should.", She forced a soft smile into the recording. "I love you mommy ... Goddess be with you."

Astire smiled as tears came to her eyes. She was ecstatic to know that the code hadn't come between Astila's love for her. She leaned down and kissed Astila's cheek. "Oh my baby, I love you too my little Stella.", She said, raising up and wiping a few tears from her eyes. She held Astila's hand and whispered to her. "If you can hear me, Squeeze my hand."

    ------------------------------------------

Astila was wondering around the black void of her mind, staying close to the small patch of light that was there. "So ... This is what my mind looks like. Strange ... I thought there would be more wires and caution signs.", She snickered a little bit, then stopped and sighed disgustedly at herself. "Now I'm making jokes ... In my mind.", She put her palm to her forehead and shook her head. "Ah, Stella ... What the living hell is wrong with you?", She laughed morbidly, Sitting down by the patch of light. She was beginning to feel better, she could no longer feel the pain in her side and she felt warmer. She heard voices talking, but she couldn't make them out. The light in her mind was getting bigger and bigger, bringing more light to her darkness. After the voices stopped, she heard one speaking to her quietly. "Astila ... I'm so proud of you.", Astila's eyes widened in her mind, she stood, smiling brightly, and jumped up and down. "Momma!", She cheered, listening to her mother talk. "I'm so sorry that you've had such a difficult time. But, I know you're doing good in this screwed up galaxy.", Astila smiled, she desperately wanted to wake up. The voice stopped for a moment. "Momma?", Astila asked, she could then make out the sound of her on voice over the video recording. "Oh my baby, I love you too my little Stella.", Astila smiled,"I know you do." Astila sat in her mind and relaxed a moment, just enjoying knowing that her mother was there. The light in her mind growing ever bright, as the moments passed. "If you can hear me, squeeze my hand.", Astila heard her mother say. She was worried that she might not be able to do it. She closed her eyes for a moment and focused.

Astire looked at her hand on top of Astila's intently. She waited a few moments, holding her breath so to speak. After about a minute, Astila squeezed her hand. She smiled big, knowing her daughter could hear her.

Astire stood at the bedside of her daughter, feeling relieved. There was a lot to take in over such a brief period of time. She found herself lost in thought looking down at her daughter. She almost did not hear another asari clear her throat as she tried to get Astire's attention. The concerned mother turned around to see a lithe Asari priestess standing in the doorway. This Asari was dressed in the traditional priestess garb of the siari religion. Her delicate hands were folded in front of her stomach almost prayerfully.

"Goddess be praised," the priestess said. "I am not too late."

Astire cocked her head curiously. "Too late for what?"

The priestess continued. "Last rites. I was told there was an Asari Justicar named Astila who received terrible injuries."

Astire breathed a sigh of relief and shook her lovely head. She turned towards her daughter and gently stroked her face. "No. No. No. Not my daughter. Astila is recovering fine."

The priestess turned away, looking embarassed. "Oh goddess." She brought her right hand, covering her eyes. "I am so sorry."

Astire looked up from her daughter towards the siari priestess and smiled gently. "It's fine. I'm sure accidents happen all the time."

The priestess took a very deep breath and lowered her arm and pulled up her omnitool. "Goddess bless you for being so understanding. But now, I need to inform the head priestess of what occurred and explain what happened. Can you tell me what happened to Justicar Astila?"

For the next few minutes, Astire explained to the priestess everything she knew about what happened to her daughter. It wasn't much, but it was enough. The priestess bowed deeply and gave her blessing upon Astila before leaving the concerned mother.

The priestess quickly left the room embarassed. When she was out of sight of Astire, she typed a short message in her omnitool.

It is confirmed. There is a Justicar present on Corwin's team. Recommend sending Asari commandos before she recovers.

Smiling, she sends the message to her superiors.

Othic moved from behind the Doctors still working on Aivar to Eri who now seemed to be awake again. She offered him a weak, if slightly pained looking smile. at him through the pounding behind her eyes.

"Hey... looks like you're better at Krogan-Dodge-Ball than I am." Her voice was groggy.

"I guess so." He felt a sudden pang of guilt but had no idea why. "You made quite a dent in the wall." He tried to joke but felt like an idiot as soon as he said it.

"So I take it Kreiger finally got to kill him like he wanted..." She closed her eyes again, seemingly ignoring his poor attempt at humour. "Or else Aashe got to just space him."

"Neither. Havens somehow tricked him onto Aivar's ship and used Jarvis to launch it. No idea where he is now. I told Corwin we should have got rid of him, I told him and look what happened...."

"That's... probably not a good thing," "How long was I out?"

"Long enough, you came to briefly in my.....as we brought you here. You probably don't remember, you passed out in pretty quick order. We're on Ilium by the way. We needed to get medical attention for Astila. She got banged up pretty badly. Krieger carried her to the docks himself, didn't even remember to put on his suit he was in such a panic. He'll catch his death like that."

"What... can I help with?" She asked after his mini-ramble as she tried to push herself up.

"Wow, wow. Eri take it easy." He put his hand gently on her shoulder, trying to keep her on the bed.

"No, no, I'm fine. I'm just..." She started to say as she rolled over onto her left side. She let out a small gasp and her eyes momentarily rolled back, causing Myn to fear she might faint again.

    "Easy, easy" He urged her

"Okay, maybe not," she admitted through gritted teeth.

"Just take your time to get your bearings." He paused. "I...I'm just glad to see you're okay."

"Yes, I KNOW." he heard Aivar growl, breaking the calm of the Med Bay. "And do not call me ma'am. I am not a woman."

"Hey... looks like you're better at Krogan-Dodge-Ball than I am." Her voice came out a bit rougher than she expected.

"I guess so," Myn looked a bit guilty for some reason, but Eri had no idea why. "You made quite a dent in the wall," he joked.

She tried to smile but it hurt, so she opted for business instead. "So I take it Kreiger finally got to kill him like he wanted..." She closed her eyes again, willing away the pain. "Or else Aashe got to just space him."

"Neither. Havens somehow tricked him onto Aivar's ship and used Jarvis to launch it. No idea where he is now. I told Corwin we should have got rid of him, I told him and look what happened...."

"That's... probably not a good thing," she frowned, and wished she hadn't. Skar had intel on the crew now, and freedom to return to his employer - probably to use the information as a bargaining chip for getting out of trouble for the botched assassination. "How long was I out?"

"Long enough, you came to briefly in my.....as we brought you here. You probably don't remember, you passed out in pretty quick order. We're on Ilium by the way," Myn explained further.

Illium... Her parents were on Illium... But, how the hell did they get there? "Long enough" was clearly quiet some time...

"We needed to get medical attention for Astila," Myn added. "She got banged up pretty badly. Krieger carried her to the docks himself, didn't even remember to put on his suit he was in such a panic. He'll catch his death like that."

From what she'd heard of Quarians, Eri was flat out amazed Kreiger hadn't died yet, even running around on board the ship with no suit on. Be that as it may, she felt useless simply lying here. "What... can I help with?" she asked, trying her best to push herself up.

"Wow, wow. Eri take it easy." Myn put his hand gently on her shoulder, trying to keep her on the bed.

"No, no, I'm fine. I'm just..." She attempted to roll over onto her left side and very nearly blacked out again. The intense stab of pain that shot through her arm caused lights to sparkle across her vision and she flopped back down again.

    "Easy, easy," he urged her.

"Okay, maybe not," she admitted through gritted teeth.

"Just take your time to get your bearings." He paused. "I... I'm just glad to see you're okay."

"Yeah..." she replied, blinking away the stars. "So.. dent in the wall, huh? At least I went out with a bang...?" She chuckled, trying to distract herself.

"Yes, I KNOW!" Aivar suddenly growled, breaking the calm of the Med Bay. "And do not call me ma'am. I am not a woman."

"Well.... she's awake," Eri glanced back up at Myn. "Although maybe she got hit harder than we thought..." Not a woman...? Eri had accidentally seen Aivar nearly naked while walking past the medbay and she sure looked like a woman to Eri.

The Asari nurses looked a bit taken aback by the outburst and decided to take that moment to leave Aivar's side and return to Eri's bed. They began their scans anew, and Eri waved her good arm in the general direction of her left shoulder. "This... is not good," she said simply. "I think it's broken..." She winced up at Myn.

"This... is not good, I think it's broken..." She said wincing at Othic who stayed beside her bed.

"It could be, can't say I noticed it when I brought you here, but then I'm not a Doctor." He paused as the medical team scanned Eri.

"You know West, for such a.....diminutive person; you can sure take one hell of a bump." He joked lightly.

"But seriously, is there anything I can do or anything you need?" He was at a loose end, he had no real desire to go ashore on Ilium, there was nothing he needed there. He figured he might as well make himself useful, either helping with Eri or seeing if Aashe required him for any odd jobs.

There was a sudden awkward silence after 'he' had said that, and 'he' heard Eri mumble something about 'him' getting hit harder then they thought. 'He' growled again and slipped off the bed... and fell to the floor. 'He' cursed and then got up, and started to make 'his' way out of the med bay, if slowly. 'He' had to force himself to do this; 'he' needed to go eat something and find out what happened. The nurses and the doctor were too scared to go near 'him'.

Skar... Skar had whacked 'him' in the head and had knocked him out, and battered the crew. 'He' felt ashamed for his mistake. Looking away from the enemy was stupid. What had happened next after 'he' had gotten knocked out was a mystery to 'him', but 'he' felt enraged at 'himself' and the Krogan. If Skar was dead, 'he' was going to fry someone's face off later, if not, 'he'll' save 'his' rage for when 'he' finally meets the Krogan again. It was simple as that.

When 'he' finally reached the door, 'he' fell to the ground again, unable to move, much to 'his' annoyance. Pain from a number of things was keeping 'him' down. 'His' mind was a livewire, but 'his' body couldn't keep up. 'He' felt like 'his' biotics were eating 'him' from the inside out.

((Being a biotic and not eating for a while basically spells ouchy for a normal biotic, but Aivar needs to eat several times a day in order for 'him' to not suffer complications. He might as well have the metabolism of a hummingbird. What the docs do next is up to you guys.))

kreiger thanked the nurse and headed for room 6, forgetting the mask he had been told to acquire. i hope she's ok, kreigers thoughts consumed him. And not just the bad ones, the memories of the last few days clouded his mind. Atila's graceful swagger as she crossed the floor at Cora's, he passion and fury as she threw herself between him and danger TWICE now and her playful nature, but mostly, he kept returning to their kiss. Her soft lips had stained his mind, the thought of them pressing against his, even briefly, nearly drove him mad with desire. his pace increased, desperate to reach Astila's side.

He noticed a priestess standing just outside her room, working on an omnitool of all things. it puzzled him, but his judgment was clouded, and he ignored her as he gently pushed past to enter the room. he approached the left side of the bed, opposite Astire on the right.
"hows she doing?" he gazed at her wounds, not as severe as he first though, but she shouldn't be injured at all in his mind.
    (Astire response)
"i suppose i owe you an explanation on how this happened?" his voice saddens at the thought of reliving events so soon.
"your daughter and i have accepted a job...i'm not really sure i can say what job, but it's not important. we were attacked by a krogan at the citadel docks and the crew found it reasonable to keep him for questioning, bubbles they called him. i personally have had a few run ins with the same krogan and have a bit of a...well, lets call it a grudge." he paused a moment, finding words to explain and reading the reactions of Astire
"after a while, i demanded the barriers be lowered so i could...well, i was going to kill him to be honest, but i questioned him and left, Astila followed. later in the eve, we returned to find the door bared and the crew locked in with the krogan. i foolishly tried to overide the door to get us in and Skar took his chance. he knocked EVERYONE out, removed the door from is frame as he charged us...Astila..." he paused once more, he relised his voice was becoming agitated, he took a deep breath, looking down at astila and placing his hand in hers as she lay motionless.
"Astila, threw herself between me and the door, erecting a field to soften the blow. i tried to throw her aside, but there was no time."

A small tear rolled down his cheek as he spoke, his voice still steady though. it was clear the quarian felt for her, no matter how much he tried to hide it.
    "this is all my fault..."
