Around 4:30 Casey says that we can explore some of ideas of organic and synthetic life, but that the game doesn't have to make a statement about it... When that's exactly what the game does!

So they cut out the Anderson dialogue so that the end wouldnt be 'too indulgent'. About the catalyst, 'we dont need to know everything', and we should believe everything he says...wow. I have no words. This is proof that only Hudson and Walters were involved in writing the last hour of the game isnt it? The way they say it makes it seem that Walters was weaving his magic(pun intended) and Hudson was directing him. Just astonishing how out of touch of reality they were.

Well, at least we know now that the two most important persons in the development of ME3 doesn't understand what made Mass Effect a great franchise and why the fans loved it...and now please excuse me, I have to hide my rage mode

so they don't want to answer questions about where the Reapers come from but they made damn sure I knew that Anderson was from London?

Is it just me or does all Casey talk about is the Love interests?

Literally every word out of his mouth is about the love interests between Tali and Garrus and Mac Walters talks about everything but the ending save those first two minutes where he was talking.

They avoided the ending like it had the freaking plague.

I can only laugh with tears in my eyes. I can only scream at the monitor, usually starting with "But you DONT/COULDNT/SHOULDNT...!" with a high-pitched voice i reserve for commenting on really stupid scenes in movies.

And since i watched this in my room with my headphones on, now my family looks at me strangely.

Well, considering Casey H was only an obscure, almost anonymous man of the shadows in the times of NWN and all, I even wonder how he can be so important in Bioware's hierarchy now. Especially when you hear all the BS coming from him. And yes, I'm polite and civil here. This interview only gives weight to my theory : Casey H and Mac W should NEVER have been "in charge" of ME3. They just don't have the shoulders to carry such a project, especially when you look at the two previous games.

The fact they avoid talking about the ending says it all : they don't even accept the fact that what they made was totally in contradiction with ME's lore. Personally, there's no rage mode on after seeing this video : just a confirmation of what I was thinking, as I said earlier. It's somewhat sad, but it also confirms what the Extended Cut will be : more of the BS and crap we already had in the original game, they only see what their asstistic vision shows them and don't care about their fans at all.

And tiduspr : yeah, it IS pretentious, and the Bioware we all used to know and love is (most likely) definitely gone. All we have since DA2 is the rotting husk of what Bioware used to be. Devoid of all that made its greatness back in the days of great games like BG 1&2, NWN or KotOR.

He also thinks you can use synonyms, and deny they mean the same thing.

A man creating a video game with a goal for it not beign a video game? That is wierd with capital WIERD.

This.....I've tried a few times to process this video and the ...disconnect just derails my train of thought completely. OK, I'll try to work through this.

First of all this video needs a laugh track and rimshots, it's the only way to make it watchable. Second Casey Hudson must have incriminating photos of the boss at EA locked up in a safe somewhere. I find myself morbidly curious what role either or both of these guys actually played in the making of the first two games.

SeventyOne Thanks for bringing this video here! I don't have an iphone so I didn't see any of the information the final hours supplies. Not that I'm exactly happy to watch it, it's confusing in a way because I remember the interviews....no A,B or C etc. and their tone here is different.
I guess the hype over the game was very deliberate...... They did knowingly lie.

well yes here in this vid. but whilst meta-gaming ME3 between Arrival and actual release, the one thing that stuck out to me as a tad bit overdone and funny was that Casey Hudson <3 that Omni-Blade. it was omni-blade everywhere. check out the new melee attack, the omni-blade! we gots improved combat mechanics now with omni-blade!! more up-close kills from the omni-blade. the omni-blade; it's 'better with kinect' etc....

ok I made that last one up, I think but it's likely he would have said it.

Please stop with the "Final Hours" it ain't Word of God, and Bioware has run away from as soon as it was posted. It's a piece of garbage.

"Final Hours" includes direct interviews with the BioWare team, notably Mac Walters and Casey Hudson. How can that not be relevant?

To be fair when the Final hours app came out and everyone got even more pissed off. The Bioware PR team, notably Cris and Jessica almost immediately jumped on twitter and the BSN and said flat out something along the lines of the Final hours app not being something that Bioware did or officially condoned, but rather it was an app made by a freelance reporter I believe and so that people should
