Site Updates
The site is returning to beta status due to some very major code changes, upgrades, layout, template and modifications.

Countermeasures
We have site security set relatively high to combat spammers and bots, if by chance your post is hidden by the system it will go into a moderation queue for review and will be cleared as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and help in our continuing effort to build HTL.

The site will most likely be going down a few times tomorrow for some core changes, at some point many of the sidebar blocks will also be unavailable. A notice will be posted a few hours before each event.

The site will be coming down at or around 1:00PM PST (UTC-8) on 10/4/12 for a 30-45 minute update to begin core code replacement.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The new core code is in, the portal and many of the sidebar widgets will be brought online one at a time as we convert the display blocks over.

(3) major updates / bug patches are planned for today, the site may be taken down for 10 minutes to complete some server side changes. Once the core is stable, bug free, we can proceed on continuing development of the systems and features.

More maintenance and updates planned for Thursday - Saturday, no significant downtime is expected. A quick reboot may be required and notification will posted as usual.

It's most likely because it refreshed your cache when you made a change to reflect the code updates, a browser cache clearing would have had the same effect.

More work on the portal (home) page today and tomorrow, layout and loading issues expected until completed.

It's being worked on almost daily, so you probably got in between updates with your browser cache and when you edited your avatar it updated. Then there is the possibly of a bug, and will be fixed once we get out of BETA.

Portal - layout and other issues - Pending
Donation manager - donations and goals not displaying correctly - Pending

The Chatrooms/IM System in the lower bar will be coming down in 10 minutes for a major upgrade, downtime is estimated at or around 20-40 minutes. The CommBox will remain up and available.

New Smiles added to forum and CommBox, I will add them to the Chatrooms soon.

HTL 3.0 BETA is going live.
