Damas y caballeros!

As I'm sure most people on HTL have seen, there are currently quite a few fan initiatives going on revolving around favorite LIs/characters from ME. Over the last day or so many representatives from each initiative have come together to discuss collaborating on spreading the word about our own and each others projects, to make this a unified effort. Go us!

Below, you'll find links to each of the individual projects. If any new initiatives pop up around the same idea, please let me know so I can add them!

UPDATE: We now have timelines for some of the LI projects arriving at Bioware Edmonton! Note the dates and spread the word! Feel free to sling the postcards around and poster images to help promote initiatives and celebrate when they reach their destination!

• #FindMiranda posters are en route and should arrive June 14th! Posters delivered! Waiting for confirmation from Bioware, if any!
• #MoreTimeWithTali posters are ready to go, shipping on the 19th, should arrive on June 22nd.
• #NoShepardWithoutVakarian the fan book is in the last stages of being put together, shipping on the 22nd, should arrive on or around June 26th.

@Michael Zack is also sending Thank You cards to BW and I believe they should arrive between the Miranda posters and the Tali posters.
I'll update with more specific dates as I get them!

A few things to note about the initiatives as a whole and how we'd like to help each other out:

• Hashtags:Especially on Twitter but across other social media as well, giving each other friendly shout outs to spread the word is much appreciated! Each initiative below is titled from its own hashtag so it's easy to stay uniform on which ones we're using.
  • #forourLI is the specific hashtag we'll use to refer all the projects as a whole. Especially on release dates for individual projects, we'll use this to draw specific attention to our efforts, along with the individual hashtag of whichever project is being shipped out that day. Dates for release are still kind of up in the air and being worked out by heads of the various projects. When they are known I'll make sure to post them here!
• Not Entirely LI Exclusive: I'm sure all the groups would welcome help and support from anyone whose a fan of the highlighted characters, whether you love them as an LI or just as a character! Don't be scared to jump in!
• This Is Not a Protest!:None of these initiatives is geared towards protesting ME3's ending or other contested issues of the kind. We want to be very clear about this: Our unified goal is to show Bioware our appreciation and love of these fantastic characters they've created. Many of us would love to see more of them in the future. We're stressing the positive here, lovely people, and we ask that anyone involving themselves in these initiatives do the same, please! It's been said over and over but, what the hell, I'll repeat it: Most of us would not be here if we didn't love Bioware/ME and want to continue to do so. These projects are all about showing that love, no strings attached. Kay? Awesome!
  • To that end, it's been requested that tweets regarding #forourLI and the individual fan projects not include the #HTL or #RetakeME hashtags. That doesn't mean we no longer believe in those goals, it's just to keep things easy and avoid spreading the wrong impression.
  • The #NoShepardWithoutVakarian group specifically requests this rule be followed as we plan on using artwork contributed by an artist with a specific caveat that the work not be used as a form of protest, so it's important we respect such wishes. Thanks!

"Where's MY favourite LI?!": If you don't see your fave LI represented here, please understand that the lack of their presence is in no way an act of slander/prejudice/exclusion. #forourLI exists to help promote existing LI initiatives on HTL. If your LI isn't here it's because a) There's no thread on HTL about a project to send Bioware some token of appreciation for their LI or b) No ones made me aware of any such thread.

If you want to get a group together to send Bioware a poster/fan book/etc, please start a new thread on the War Room sub forum. Come up with a unique hashtag for the title so there's an easy way to spread the word about the project. Get fans involved and hash out the details about the project/get the ball rolling. Then please let me know about the thread so I can add it here and get the OP/person in charge involved with the collaborative effort to spread the word.

Do you and Kim want to slap this in a FB event--you can basically just copy and paste this over? Kim mentioned something about having a Garrus page already--but I just thought we could have one FB event for every group involved.

Yeah, I think we've established that we need to find someone who actually has gamer-type connections on their Facebook to handle LI events. Any takers?

I dont have connections, which is part of the reason I made a new account, I've been using it and hitting all related pages with our group name trying to attract people in, it's a slow process but were getting there, had some good responses from the people running the fan pages, so if you guys want me to open up some more groups from that account then that's no problem, I can make one for us all and then a seperate one for anyone who wants one for their own cause, and then either give the designated facebook person our email and password or make the user an admin, @ShyGravel already has all the details for the account and so can also be contacted for any of the above. Hope this helps!

What no current projects for Jack?

This is a great idea! I think what was the most devastating (although kind of selfish on our part haha) was the separation from our LI after building up a relationship with them for 5 years. Especially after how well the romance scenes were done.

#GetJackLaid We approve as this is an accurate goal that our Psychotic Biotic would aim for. How would we go about getting more involved with this project?

Right at the moment just spread the word about it using any of the hashtags in my signature. If you have any "artist" contacts or you yourself are an artist feel free to whip something up up for people to see. Otherwise check this thread often for further updates

Yeah, I know @Benny Bedlam was really hoping someone would get interested in getting a #GetJackLaid project started but I don't think it ever took off outside of Twitter.

If you're interested in sending Bioware something - a poster and/or Fanbook seems to be what most of these projects are doing - start a Thread for it, entitled #GetJackLaid, in the War Room sub-forums and see about getting people started on a project! If this happens, please let me know, I'll go ahead and add that link/project to this threads OP. The same goes for anyone who wants to get on board about an LI/fave character.

If you guys are OK with it, I can still try and spread the word about all of these initiatives on the German Retake FB page.
I don't know about the deadlines for all of these and I'm not sure how many people are still checking in for updates on FB but it might be worth a try.

I'm putting something to this in my sig, because its deserved.
All the LI's deserve some real closure, instead of this bleak and depressing end. I mean really?
Liara: Stranded on some jungle planet, probably will never see Shepard again even if he/she survived. Alone for the next 900 years.
Garrus: Never see Shepard or his family again, going to starve on jungle planet.
Tali: Never get to build her home on Rannoch with Shepard, see the peace between the Geth and Quarians and starves on jungle planet.
Ashley/Kaiden: Stuck on jungle planet, never seeing the one they love ever again. Either dying alone or forced to settle with someone else to make a colony.
Miranda: Stuck on Earth with little to no supplies, no way to get any more. Never has a chance to fix her sterility or see her sister. Might possibly find an almost dead Shepard.
Jack: Stuck with no supplies, trapped with a bunch of angry and hungry soldiers. May find busted up Shepard.
Kelly: Died on the citadel.
Thane: Never gets anyone to truly honour his sacrifice, Kolyat never really gets to know his father's Siha.
Samara: Never got a true romance.

When I saw the banner image I almost teared up this is fantastic

I got it to work, I just had to slightly edit it, and add a big black border, is the profile pic ok? wasnt sure what to put so just used the trophy image! lol
