Important Update All! If you're a guest, you definitely need to read this.

Tonight we will be using Dolby Axon for our voice program instead of XBL -- This will allow us to include more people in the party as a whole, regardless of console. If you would, please go here (https://axon.dolby.com/index.php) to download Dolby Axon for free. You can use the mic built in your PC (if you have one) or your headset. The sound is crisp and clear in either case and is very reliable. After you've downloaded it and chosen your username and such, please add my username, elisevakarian, to your list. (And don't forget to tell me your username either in this thread or a PM). I'll confirm you upon request, then add you to the chat when you arrive for the party.

We'll get started around 10:30pm CST and go from there! See you then and please let me know if you have any questions!

Calling all Commanders, operatives and allies!!!

We all knew this day would come. How it'll exactly turn out, how we'll feel, the aftermath... are all uncertainties. But what *is* certain, is that we will continue to Hold the Line, no matter what. This isn't just about Mass Effect, but the industry as a whole. And as for the Extended Cut... if the worst comes to pass, my philosophy is that we can all still have a hell of a time!!!

You're invited to my ME MP & EC XBL Party (aka The I-wish-the-amount-of-letters-here-equated-to-the-amount-of-potential-Mass-Effect-endings Party)! It'll be getting started on Monday, June 25th @ 10:30pm CST on XBox Live. Guests will RSVP via this thread. I will update the guest list right here as well, so everyone is in the know. I'll be hosting the party till 3am CST -- you can stay the whole time or leave when you wish!

On Monday night, look for my gamertag, CllSgnCalliope, and send me a message on XBL. The party is invite only, to keep just anybody from joining. Please make sure to have your working headset and mic plugged up and ready! This isn't just to maximize the fun factor, but to also discuss what we're experiencing. (Besides, who doesn't love spontaneous uncensored commentary in MP?!)

***UPDATE: @Awesomologist (aka best guy ever ) just shared Gamble's tweet with me that the EC should go live at 2am PST/4am CST! So here's the updated plan -- We'll still be MPing from 10:30pm CST till about 3am CST. We'll crash like mad, rest up and reconvene in the afternoon, say around 12:30pm CST, to gear up and play the EC for the party! ALSO... our awesome ally has also shared Dolby Axon with me, which allows a bunch of people to be in a voice chat at once. All you need is your laptop and a mic. You can play the sound through speakers or a headset. The best part? Doesn't matter if you're on PC, XBL or PSN! So this allows us to really have a great time all around! You don't have to participate in the entire party -- if MP is your thing and you aren't ready to play the EC, or you're just tired, that's more than alright! There's only room for 8 people in a party, so I can also cycle more people in if others have to leave. There's only 4 people to a MP team, so we can divvy that up as needed without a problem. To keep from confusion between the teams, one team will go to into game chat, and the other team can stay in the party chat. ("There's a banshee behind you!" "Where?! Oh wait, we're fighting Cerberus." ) Update: As noted above, we might be using Dolby Axon (https://axon.dolby.com/index.php), which will allow us to partition the room chats as well, while still remaining a large party.

Remember, the goal here is to share the experience and have fun doing it! Of course, bringing junk food and alcohol are optional, but having a good attitude and ready to have an epic time are mandatory!



**Please Note** Though this party is open to HTLers here ('cause you all are fantastic beautiful fun people!), please know that joining the party just to troll will not be tolerated. You can feel free to say what you'd like, but not at the expense of everyone else having fun and a good time. It's invite only, but if you are causing a major disturbance, you will be removed. So please be respectful.

I live in a faraway time zone so I probably won't be able to play the EC at the same time as HTL's US inhabitants, but this is still a great idea, so hats off to you, Elise =)
