they have 60% worth of cut game content to play with (yes the "finished" game was only 40% of what they had) maybe they went dumpster diving?

I find it strange that they released it before PAX, but maybe it's their intention to get people confused.

it is a panic throw, EA will go down kicking and screaming here. there huge, they got to used to people swallowing their games and moving on, now that people have said "NO!" they don't know how to react, it was a slow and huge climb for them and they just fell like a battle cruiser from FTL. anything they do now will be to try regain some solid ground before PAX when they will be hit hard...PAX is no longer make or break for just ME3...its make or break for EA

They release it before PAX so the waves of reaction have already occurred and they can point all questions on this topic to that press release. And if pushed beyond that they can always just say "it's too early to talk about what's in the DLC" or "still being decided" etc. Total bypass for the show. Well played.

The sad thing is they clearly still do not understand what our problem is with the ending. Clarification is great, but if they just clarify certain things and the Joker fleeing scene is still there. What's the point? o_O

    Indeed.

Still intrigued to see if they will extend the Flight of the Normandy, and if so, how. Intrigued in a bizarre kind of way, since it still does not make sense, not to me any way...

Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series added, “We have reprioritized our post-launch development efforts to provide the fans who want more closure with even more context and clarity to the ending of the game, in a way that will feel more personalized for each player.”
Hold these words close...we have been fed this before.

I dismiss Hudson's words to mean: "Hey, if your LI was Tali, then instead of seeing Liara flashing before your eyes when you're dying, now you'll see a shot of Tali!"

I was almost about to say "A more personalized betrayal than the original ending? Er, no thanks" but I rather not.

    ...

    Oops.

On a more serious note, yes, certainly seems identical to the first statement about clarifying things, not changing anything beyond "explaining".

Seems "We're listening to feedback" turned out to be one more lie.

I predict that "personalization" of endings for each player is another fat lie.

This is not our victory. This is our defeat.

Hey Lil One. Nice to see you here. :)

I LOVE your avatar. Not just because it's Tali, but the color/composition of it.

Really? I think they're still swimming in our money, we don't have ending Mass Effect deserves. Sorry for being negative, but I see that despite all our actions they decided to piss on our feedback and stick to their ending. I won't buy anything from them again, maybe others will too, but that's their problem. It won't make ending to greatest SF game trilogy better. It's still butchered in last 10 minutes.
