    Problem with playing CoD with bots is there are few ways you can exploit the simple AI and rack up loads of kills with little fear of death . Would have to be PvP .

    @Chris I agree. I was just throwing options out there :) PvP sounds more appropriate anyways or even a competition to see who can get the furthest in Nazi Zombies with teams of 2 or 4. Again, just throwing ideas out there :D

    2nd Update :- Preliminary results on lag testing.

    Me, @DJayRaIDeN , @s1lv3rw0lf and one of Silverwolf's friends played mixed matchs on some video games over the past couple of days (Private matches) and found the lag to be minimal at best. More tests will be done soon to determine how long this'll last and to what degree we can push it.

    By the way, the rent a server for BF3...depending on how many days, you can have a private match, and not just have the server public. :)

    No, i was just asking. Friend plays BF3 and he was a little annoyed about the whole rent a server thing. So i asked him about setting up your own server.
    He hadnt thought about that but said it would probably be a slim chance for it to work (developers have no infuence).

    Yea, what's worse really is that there are no "Dice/EA" servers, or any that are easy to find in any rate. So you can't be sure that the game you get that you won't be kicked for using most of the weapons there.

    On topic though, I think if we shared the cost we should be able to keep it fairly cheap.

    Actually @Gmandam after the out cry of them dropping the servers, I believe they put a bunch of em back.... not a crazy ton but they did put some back. Shouldn't have happened in the first place but.... well least some are back.

    Yeah, the cost could be shared, or drawn from the pool when we get that up and running.

    When there's about 15-20 pages + worth of servers Dj and the search functions useless (trust me I checked today, couldn't find a single EA/Dice Server) those few servers are few and far between.

    Agreed, I'm more than willing to split the cost if BF3 ends up being what's picked.
