    This is interesting...

We all know the Battle for Earth needs a complete revamp. If they really are giving it out for free, then they they know they were wrong to screw people over by promising a battle where you see your War Assets in action, and instead releasing the piece of shit we have now. Even the Pro-Enders have been demanding for a better Priority: Earth, so it was most likely on the list of "DLC we should do." As for the other DLC... I'll wait and see. Still not dropping any money on these unless what they release is absolutely fantastic and gives us the proper endings.

Still, if what this post says is true, then Mass Effect 3's story really isn't set in stone like they say it is. And the final DLC says that it requires all DLC, indicating that Puzzle Theory may be correct. Meaning that BioWare knew that the game/ending was rushed and unfinished, even with EC. It is possible that they are trying, through DLC, to create the game they said they would create, but were rushed for time thanks to EA's deadline. Could there be... dare I say... hope?

    *Hope rising*

    Wait, what the hell...

    *suppresses hope*

I believe Mike Gamble said it was fake.

Still, every time BioWare has said something was "fake," it's turned out to be true. Still, it's best to keep a safe distance before we get our hopes up again.

    *hope rises again*

I said stay down, dammit!

I can understand why a rumor like this would gain power, as it's pretty much everything that you'd want to hear if you were disappointed with Mass Effect 3's ending. However, it seems too good to be true, considering what we were given in the Extended Cut.

I suppose we'll know in November if the Citadel DLC is called Guardian.

Anybody know if the source of this pastebin has leaked anything else before?

I believe so. I think Clevernoob has uncovered a lot of things surrounding Mass Effect 3's DLC plans before. Like Earth DLC, Leviathan, and now Omega (even though we all saw that one coming). And each time the Community Managers and Gamble have denied these... only for them to become true in the end. Then there's the supposed Citadel DLC (which people are starting to believe may be the leaked "Guardian" DLC).

I think we need to keep our hopes low so that we don't get them broken again if it's false. However, we should be keeping an eye on this.

My cynical side tells me that if it SEEMS too good to be true, it isn't.

That being said, I sure HOPE that it's true and that it turns Mass Effect 3 into the game the series deserves, or at the very least something I can stomach playing all the way through to the end. At this point, I believe that I'm well beyond ever seeing Bioware the way I used to, so all I really care about now is seeing Mass Effect saved. Time will tell, as always. Here's hoping.

I'm starting to feel the same way. I have no hope for BioWare. EA has them in their clutches, and we all know it's just a matter of time. The way the head honchos have been acting have assured me, that BioWare is taking a path that I can't follow. I have no hope for any future Mass Effect games that they have planned. However, I do hope that Mass Effect 3 and the Trilogy can be saved, and I can finally be able to play through all of the games again.

I know, bro. I'm tired of speculating, too. Hopefully the speculation will end soon, one way or another.

I was under the impression that Leviathan was discovered from files within the Extended Cut, not from an inside source within Bioware. And wasn't the Earth DLC leaked out by the same guy on Reddit that leaked the Resurgence and Rebellion stuff?

If I'm wrong, then there's some reason for hope, but I'm still skeptical.

Well, the pastebin info does say they are the same, unless that was just TSA's speculation.

Honestly, I am also speculating, myself. I truly don't know much, only bits and pieces of what I hear. I may be wrong on a few details. Since Leviathan is tied into EC, I wonder if future DLC is as well? Could be a jumping point for changing the ending. We can only wait and see if the speculation is true.

Well, no need to go very far in this, in my opinion. As I see things, there are only 2 valid solutions : 1) it's a fake (very likely) or 2) it's true BUT it was certainly NOT planned in advance by BiowEAre. I think they had indeed a multi-SP DLC schedule planned before the game came out (thanks a lot, EA :D), but they have tinkered with it along the way since the ending debacle began. Because let's face it, if they truly had planned everything long ago, even before the game launched, including many fans raging and all, they wouldn't have let the situation deteriorate between them and potential customers to the point it actually reached. Not mentioning things like their top-of-the-clumsiness PR spins and relations with the fanbase or the ridiculous antagonistic situation on the gestapo-ruled BSN. Oh and I wonder why the rats the doctors left the sinking boat if everything was truly set up since the beginning. That just doesn't make sense.

So even if the so-called "project X" or whatever the name I forgot comes to life, it's merely a clumsy attempt at stitching back together the messy patchwork left by the game itself and the already-out DLCs and at winning back a few fans along the way. I think they realised they have torched their best-selling licence, but as far as I'm concerned, even if they succeed into making the impossible come true, it's still too little, too late for me.

PS : Sorry if I don't make sense all along my post or if you find typos in it, but I'm currently recovering from 4 days spent with a 40°C fever and it's almost 5 AM so maybe my mind isn't THAT clear right now ;)
PPS : All the randomness contents of my post are purely, 100000 % from my very own personal point of view of entitled whiner who didn't get his unicorns and rainbows in the end. Wait, actually I partially got the rainbow... 3 colors out of 7 :D

So is there a Microsoft rule, that prohibits DLCs, that rely on other DLCs?
The schedule is negligible. Also its the only thing Priestley and Gamble coment on.

Point is i suspect bioware to deliberately leak planned content to test the reception of the audience.
You know some leaks actually are true.

Maybe they did add "Project X" and the narrow releasedates to make it look fake.
They just test the reception and speculation on the other DLCs.

Or maybe its just a fake of the Puzzletheory/IT crowd. Who knows.

edit:/ 5 in the morning. is anyone awake?

The cynical side of me (which is pretty much the dominant side of me when it comes to Mass Effect) agrees with you. But my optimistic side, the one that once believed in Mass Effect's greatness, still has some shred of hope that the Mass Effect 3 team does the "right" thing (even though we may have to pay for it) and give the fans the endings, and the game that was promised to them. It's too late to save the Mass Effect Franchise and BioWare's reputation, but it's not too late to save the Mass Effect Trilogy.

I'm still not going to spend any money on DLC (I haven't with Leviathan or the weapon pack, and I'm not likely to do it with Omega). However, if the rumor is true... well, we'll have to see now, won't we? I think we should give them 'till the end of the year to see if this rumor is true. If the DLC trend doesn't seem likely be the end of November... then we know that whatever hope the fanbase has, will be well and truly extinguished.

I wish you a hasty recovery Vince and as me not being a doctor i strongly advice you not to read speculation posts. You ll easily get a more than 50°C fever and be used as a heater from your neighbors. Or a lamppost if you are tall and bright enough. :D
I do not know if this is true or not, or this clevernoob is used as a tool to spread rumors from Bioware. A shady mechanism to maintain attention to the company or maintain attention to this person. As far as we know Omega is next on the list and i believe that Bioware is already structuring their after Omega following DLC, i believe they have a vague plan but i am not in the mood to speculate for it or even think about Bioware's planning.
Believe me it is healthier this way. :)

Sorry, I'm not wasting 14 gigs of my hard drive for speculation. I already did that once and it was pointless. So my hopes aren't that high or non existent right now. If the fellow HTler's sing the praises maybe...
