    1. Inability to holster weapons.
    2. Lack of hub worlds. There are none except the Citadel.
    3. Saving the Council or letting them die meant nothing.
    4. Saving the Collector base or destroying it meant nothing
    5. Saving or killing the Rachni queen meant nothing either
    6. Rewriting or destroying the geth heretics meant nothing
    7. Dead characters from ME1 and ME2 are usually replaced by new characters who just fill out their role. The story remains almost the same.
    8. Lazily done confrontation with Jack if you don't save her at Grissom Academy:
    Phantom Jack
    9. Bioware missed the opportunity to make a Neverwinter Nights 2 style trial at the beginning of the game. You could have gathered evidence and witnesses to confirm the existence of the reapers and prove that blowing up that relay was necessary. You'd go around talking to people. It would be a great chance to introduce new players to the lore and the universe. Us, the old fans, would get the chance to see what 22nd century Earth looks like in peace, and walk around and see what we are going to fight for. They should build-up some tension prior to the reapers arrival and make it truly scary and frightening.
    10. Dialogue wheel is used less often than in ME1 and ME2. And when it appears the neutral option is very rare.
    11. Running animations are sloppy.
    12. Boring side quests and badly sorted out journal.
    13. The Citadel is the center of galactic civilizations. It has one of the strongest fleets in the galaxy defending it. It has 200,000 C-sec officers, civilian militia, thousands of armed criminals, civilians who would arm themselves, thousands of soldiers who escaped the fallen worlds.
And in the game, all of the sudden, you are informed that "the reapers just took the Citadel and moved it to Earth" like it's nothing. This event needs at least 3 minutes of cinematics.

Although these can be justified by the lack of time or lack of budget, it would be nice if ME3 didn't have these issues.

If you think of any, feel free to mention them.

    Wel said there,
The thing i hated the most is, After the DLC arrival, the reapers arrived and pretty much fucked up the batarians.
This happend 6 months long and ppl were shocked that the reapers arrived at the beginning of mass effect 3!?!? are you fucking kidding me!
And dont even give me that , Relay was destroyed or communication was bad, bla bla bla
Those batarians fled to the citadel with something, they probably had recorded something of the reapers to show as evidence.

6 months and its like ohh nooo why did we not listen to shepard sooner!? <.<

Actually, you got that wrong. The reapers didn't arrive 6 months ago. They were stopped.

They came to some back-up relay in dark space which led to Alpha Relay. In the Arrival you blow up the Alpha Relay, so they must continue their voyage to Milky Way with FTL travel.

The reapers fucked-up the Batarians about a week before they came to Earth.

My biggest gripe with it: Basically just two paths on the dialogue wheel.
Also, character relations translate poorly from ME1 and ME2 to ME3. Garrus and Tali is an exception.

    Oh lord, where to begin?

    - New characters were not compelling. James Vega felt a bit too much like Jacob - the generic "Grunt" who was defined by one single traumatic incident in his past. Javik was just a copy of Sten from DA:O. Fembot EDI was downright insulting. And don't even get me started on Kai Leng...if you find yourself thinking, "I liked how Mass Effect 3 dealt with the themes of self-determination and technological singularity" and that sort of thing, THEN REMEMBER THE SPACE NINJA!!!
    - Dialogue that consists wholly of cliches and one-liners. It seems like very few people talk like real people in the game.
    - Terrible, terrible attempts at manipulating the audience's emotions. There's VentKid. There's the dream sequences involving VentKid. There's the fact that the ME2 squadmates seem to have no purpose to their cameos but to die in a dramatic fashion. Seeing someone nobly sacrifice himself for the cause might have an emotional punch the first time...it has less effect the sixth or seventh time it occurs.
    - Inclusion of same-sex romance options comes off as blatant tokenism.
    - The contrived manner in which I meet my old teammates. How is it that I just keep bumping into each and every one of my old friends wherever I go?
    - SPACE NINJAS
    - Gameplay is the same uninspired Gears of War clone that ME2 was, through largely linear corridors against a very small variety of enemies (I swear, "Cerbuers goons" and "husks" are about 95% of the enemies you face). And they come in waves, too...it looks like DA2's "ANOTHER WAVE!!!" mechanic is alive and well, sadly.
    - RPG mechanics largely superfluous, doing nothing except letting you kill the same enemies with less ammo.
    - Speaking of ammo, thermal clips are even more useless, as they're so plentiful that you'll never run out.
    - Reams upon of automatic dialogue, with no dialogue choices in sight. When the dialogue wheel does come up, there's usually only two options - Paragon and Renegade, which often don't sound all that different from one another.
    - Main plot is copied from DA:O: Gather the races to fight the Ancient Evil! You may have to choose between them!
    - After five years, Tali's face is revealed to be a badly-Photoshopped stock photo.
    - SPACE NINJAS
    - Planet scanning for War Assets is just mindless filler designed to pad out the game's length.

I could probably list dozens more if I thought hard about it.

    - Running animations !
My FemShep walks and runs like a damn wrestler, like Hulk Hogan (n)

    - Textures !
I have a damn monster rig and they give me weak ass so '07 textures !

But from what a dev posted on the BSN iirc they had to do this because of the X360 low RAM and GPU/GRAM limitations.

edit : ah yes and the eternal sloppy and lack of polish returning after ME1&2 : Shepard unsheathe a weapon you don't use during cut scenes

Among many ( No, space ninjas don't push me off, they were fine by me ) and among many already mentioned:

    - Damned fixed FOV
    - No holstering
    - Benny Hill in space
    - Not really interesting side quests.
    - Generic N7 missions,
    - ALLIANCE DESTROYED MY SHIP ARGH

    And yes, Chobot.

I tell you what, if I had been on the Normandy after the Alliance messed around with it, I'd be in the med bay half the time from hitting my head on stuff. I could barely see in that ship. What does the Alliance have against light bulbs? As for Chobot, didn't mind her, but she was pretty pointless. And I didn't read the books, so I had no idea why they put Kai Leng into the game. Lack of side missions were sad. Why didn't you get a take back Omgea quest with Aria? That would have been awesome. Anyways, I agree with all of the above. It was a great game, but kinda lazy.

They should have a lightbulb DLC so I can walk in the Normandy without knocking myself out.

Agreed. It's particularly telling when the next comic edition is coming out in July which is when I suspect they had planned to release Take Back Omega DLC.

I will still find it very hollow if the endings aren't given their just due....unless Aria is a companion and possible LI...then I might say, "To hell with it". :sneaky:

Yup, even in the last Invasion comic it says she will be back to Omega and we will see it in ME3.
