      So, have you ever read or do you own any books on prehistoric life? One I'm sure you might be interested in would be A Sea without Fish: Life in the Ordovician Sea of the Cincinnati Region, which is part of the Life of the Past series of books.

        No. The closest things I've read are books on evolution. A few Dawkins... before The God Delusion made him infamous, and Dennett's Darwin's Dangerous Idea.

        Oh you mean Stephen Jay Gould's book Wonderful Life: The Burgess Shale and the Nature of History? I looked at it on amazon.com, and it has 65 reviews written about it, about half of them are 5-star reviews. Personally, I haven't read it, but a lot of 5-star reviews should be enough to convince you to read it.

      Hi, I wanted to say thanks for the reply to my Prehistoric Animals Fan Art thread, I was hoping maybe there would be others here on HTL who are interested in the creatures that roamed the Earth long before humans existed. I actually have the Prehistoric Earth pack containing the Walking With series on DVD, along with the Discovery Essential Dinosaur Pack. Thanks, Major Kirrahe

        There aint nothing wrong dinosaurs! I just really like things "exotic." The less like something I can see around me today, the more interesting. That's why I love deep sea creatures too. But gigantic reptileish, warm blooded, bird ancestors? Yeah pretty cool.
