With Borderlands 2 almost two months away, Gearbox has announced that it will contain at least 58 hours of gameplay. Not only that, but that the game is complete. That’s right. Borderlands 2 is finished! In the interim between licensing and release, the developers will now spend their time working on the first DLC pack, which will consist of a new character class. The ‘mechromancer’ will be available for free to those who pre-order the game, and it is said that the DLC will release about a month after the game. So, keep a look out for the mechromancer in October.

When news of the Battlefield 4 beta hit the web, EA made it seem like gamers and internet-heads were crazy. It was posted on Origin- what else were they supposed to think? Of course, now it has been confirmed that when customer preorder Medal of Honor: Warfighter, they get early access to the Battlefield 4 beta. Isn’t it a bit too soon for that? Battlefield 3 came out less than a year ago, and DICE hasn’t done anything but release DLC for it. Why not continue to expand on BF3 until you can’t anymore, and then go to Battlefield 4? No matter, though. As it is an awesome game, gamers will no doubted get to see what advances DICE will attempt to make in the follow-up!
