Movie music

Do you all remember movies from the 80's and 90's? they all had 'a song' even those that didn't necessarily need one, and these songs were always awesome?

For example, the obvious dirty dancing (time of my life) and flashdance (what a feeling) and also such treasures as the goonies (goonies are good enough) and neverending story (neverending story) movies that didn't even need a song but got an awesome song?

Movies just don't seem to have awesome songs anymore, don't get me wrong, some movies have them, but back in the 80's it seems every movie had an awesome song (albeit sometimes slightly dodgy) and I realise that some movies nowadays have songs, but mostly they don't and the ones that do just don't seem as good

....yes this is really how my mind works, and for that I apologise, but in my defense, I was forced to write this blog
