I think it's fair to say the ultimate reason a lot of people are disappointed with Mass Effect 3's conclusion, is due to the lack of impact our decisions had on the final battle during Priority Earth. There our other reasons sure but at least to me, that was the main issue. With that in mind I propose that we start a campaign for an expanded Priority Earth mission to be released via DLC. I envision this as the Suicide Mission on a much larger scale. Similar to how you assigned squad members to specific tasks on the Suicide Mission, you could do the same with the War Assets you've gathered. You would assign specific fleets to specific tasks as part of the sword, shield, and hammer forces and the casualties you take, and whether the Crucible is unharmed, slightly damaged, or completely destroyed, would depend on how well the fleets you designate match the task you assign them and how strong each fleet is based on the Assets you've gathered. For example the Krogan would likely be best suited to engaging the better defended ground areas, while the Salarians could be best in a command position giving out tactical commands. The Rachni if present could play a huge role as well as whether or not the Collector base was saved. Also this DLC could include that final confrontation with Harbinger we all wanted. If fitting this all into the limit for DLC is too difficult then Bioware could release it in segments. The price could be similar to that of the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC or more depending on the time and effort required to make this expanded mission. I know I'd be willing to throw down the equivalent of $20 dollars for it at least, though obviously I'd prefer it to be cheaper. But anyway this is a request to Bioware to make an expanded Final mission similar to the Suicide mission in ME2. If you agree and would like to see this made then please contact Bioware about it on Social Media, link to this blog, or write your own. These are just examples, any further ideas on how to help promote this idea would be greatly appreciated.
Idea for Expanded Final Mission DLC
