When is enough, enough in regards to Day 1 DLC?
Some say it's acceptable because it's good customer service from devs and pubs so, all who purchased their game could have access to the same DLC as customers who buy the CE version of a certain game. Besides customers aren't being forced to buy it if they don't want it.
Others believe if the DLC is finished before the release of the main game it should be available in a free update or at a reduced cost.
Then there are others who believe that the practice of Day 1 DLC's should be abolished because there's the belief that said dlc was 'hacked off' from the main game or is "locked" on the disc, so pubs could bilk more profit from customers.
Not sure where I stand on this issue, because mainly someone would have to prove the DLC was on disc by hacking the game. Which has been done with various Capcom games that proved they where ripping off their customers with disc locked content that could only be unlocked by paying twice for it. But that doesn't mean other devs and pubs do it.
