Abit Serious: reposting from my BSN blog.

Most times I have a hard time playing a male protagonist unless they are fleshed out akin to Alan Wake. So usually when a game lets me pick my own setup Ill go female.

Then Ill proceed to see all the content I can with that character. Relationships ect. So usually I go with how I am at first.

Hawke/Seb
Warden/Alistar YAY PC MOD WEDDING

Then since I usually cant play the male peeps unless they are somewhat sarcastic Funny Hawke FTW Ill go with other relationships for the PCs. Basically to see how much content I can as a female avvy.

But for some reason with Bioware games I like alot of the same sex content....maybe its cause those LIs feel more like real people then card board cutouts??? Hmmmm....thats probably it. I love to RP other things provided they are engaging and fun. Thing is I bias with the ME1 peeps So Kai and Liara get the majority of my various playthrus attention. Hmmm.....still dont have that ME2 romance achivo....lol. Kai and Liara are just a force of nature. CAAAAAANT ecsape obrit if I wanted to.

In DA2 pretty much my Hawkes went like this: Fhawke/seb then Funny Male/Female Hawke with Izzy

What can I say? Shes a fun character. Athough Seb has Paul Muadib's voice.....aaaaaarg! *melts*

Over the past year Ive given this some thought and for those who say "OMG" those games make you Gay or whatever?

So what brought all this on for me?

Sometimes having talks like this with local friends hurts. So just because I like to RP my characters in tons on different ways you assume metric frak tons about me?? *sigh* Why is it those who say they are uber tolerant end up being so closed off from themselves and others??

So....*steps up to the line and proudly holds it for all her other gaming buddies and everyone she can.* I was in the Navy for 4 yrs so people could live the American Dream. If they ever need me to re-enlist again Ill step up once more. Ill help defend the rights of people who agree with me/ spit on me/dont give two fraks about me.....the dreamers, the sad ones, the happy ones, people who feel left out, Right, Left, Up the middle, the innocent ones, Normal everyday people, the Artists and on and on because when I think of America I dont see sterotypes. I see fellow Americans worth protecting and defending.
