And then of course, weeks later, I found this picture and it could go hand in hand with the moment when my Shepard found this seashell at the beach thinking of Mordin and, "Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.".



And just like Mordin, it had to be Jase going to the Citadel, fixing the damn console and energy for the Crucible to go off. No Starchild, no other colored waves, just plain white light, exploding and expanding from the Citadel.

Just in time Kaidan and James had picked him off the floor, half dead, carried him back to the shuttle and brought him home to the Normandy.
